Bloom 'Set to Become New' James Bond

The Bond rumours continue; link thanks to Mel: Pirates of the Carribean star Orlando Bloom is being lined up as the next James Bond.
Film producers are apparently "desperate" to sign up the 27-year-old as a replacement for Pierce Brosnan, who retires from the role after the next movie. Read full article

LOTR Trilogy Among Highest Grossing Films

The Lord of the Rings trilogy have are among the highest grossing films of all time in Australia, according to a report by The Sydney Morning Herald. The Return of the King comes in second just behind Titanic, whilst Fellowship and The Two Towers were fourth and fifth respectivly. Full list.

ROTK DVD Release Confirmed

As you all know probably know, the theatrical DVD release of ROTK has been confirmed for 25 May. Could this earlier release of the theatrical version mean the extended edition may be brought forward as well? We can only hope...
DarkHorizons have posted up a preview of what we will find on the DVD, as well as a picture of the cover art.
ROTK Clean Sweeps at the Oscars!

As was highly expected The Return of the King had a clean sweep at the Oscars last night, taking out all 11 Awards it was nominated for. Peter Jackson, Liv Tyler and all the Hobbits were there to accept the awards, which including Best Film and Best Director. For the full list of winners, visit Oscars.org
