TTT DVD Release
29 January 2003
The Two Towers 2 disc DVD is due to be released in Australia 5 August, with the extended (4 disc) version due out around 4 November.
BAFTA Awards 2003

The nominees have been announced for this year's BAFTA's, held 23 February. TTT is nominated for Best Film, Achievement in Direction, Cinematography, Production Design, Costume Design, Editing, Sound, Achievement in Special Visual Effects and Make-up / Hair. The nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Awards have been announced, to be held 9 March. TTT picked up a nomination for Outstanding Performace By The Cast Of A Theatrical Motion Picture.

Gemma writes: "In last weeks issue of Sneak they printed the usual minging and blingin section about celebs that dress well and the ones that don't.
They printed a picture of Elijah Wood in a striped suit and the caption at the bottom said 'Forget rings - our Orlando thinks he's lord of the stripes. Pity he looks like a walking bar code!' which doesn't really make sense because they also printed a picture of Orlando further on in the mag dressed in a lush black suit not at all looking like a 'walking bar code'..." Got their Elijah's and Orlando's mixed perhaps?

Moviehole reports Australian Actress Rose Byrne is in talks to join the cast of Troy. She will play Briseis, a Trojan slave girl who is the cousin of Hector (Eric Bana) and Paris (Orlando). She is given to Achilles (Brad Pitt), who then falls for her.
